Rewa holds Ba in BOG thriller

Rewa goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau made some brilliant saves.

The Rewa soccer team held a young Ba team 0-0 in the third pool match of the Inkk Mobile BOG at Subrail Park.

The Fiji FACT champions were all out to repeat the Fiji FACT outing but was never given a chance by the Men in Black.

The Ba soccer team applied tremendous pressure but could not find the back of the net.

Rewa goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau and Ba keeper Josaia Ratu played a grand game making some brilliant saves and did not allow any goal against them.

The Delta Tigers had the services of Peniame Drova, Lorima Dau, Iosefo Verevou, Gabriele Matanisiga, Madhwan Goundar, Epeli Saukuru, Amani Makoe and Samuela Kautoga while Misaele Draunibaka came in as a impct player.

Ba had a young side with Meli Codro, Remueru Tekiate, Sitiveni Cavuilagi, Kishan Sami, Samuela Nabenia, Josefata Neibuli, Narend Rao, Laisenia Naioko and Saula Waqa

Results from today’s matches:

Nadi beat Rakiraki 3-0 and Lautoka thumped Dreketi 5-1.

The final match of the day will be between host Labasa and Suva at 7.30pm and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
