The Labasa soccer team has faced defeat against Rewa 2-1 in the lone Rewa Galaxy Premier League match at Subrail Park this afternoon.
The Delta Tigers were up 1-0 in the 3rd minute of the first half when Alvin Prakash scored.
The Babasiga Lions bounced back in the 25th minute where Taniela Waqa equalised for Labasa.
Both teams were locked 1-all for most part of the match however Rewa striker Iosefo Verevou broke the hearts of the Labasa fans with a last minute goal.
Meanwhile the Nadi soccer team has won the League title after a lapse of 15 years and also booked a place in the OFC Champions League next year after defeating Lautoka 1-0 last night.
In one other match played last night, Ba thrashed Nadroga 3-0 at Govind Park.
The race for second place on the National League ladder is still on.
Lautoka, Ba, Suva, Rewa and Labasa soccer teams still have chance of getting second spot and join Nadi to represent Fiji in the OFC Champions League.
Meanwhile, at 3pm tomorrow Tailevu Naitasiri will play Lautoka at Ratu Cakobau Park while Suva will take on Ba at the ANZ Stadium.
