Rewa and Labasa BOG semi-final clash to be a battle of two great coaches

The semi-final match of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants between Rewa and Labasa tonight will not only put some of the big names of Fiji soccer together but will also be the battle of two great coaches.

Rewa team coached by former player Marika Rodu has won a number of titles under his guidance and the latest being the Vodafone Fiji Fact.

Rodu says that they want to be the team to come out as a winner in the final.

He says the players have trained well and are looking forward for the tough match against Labasa today.

Meanwhile Labasa coach Gurjit Singh is also one of the most successful soccer coaches in Fiji.

Singh has won titles with teams such as Nadi, Suva, Navua and Labasa.

Singh says that they have identified the weaknesses and worked on them and they are ready for today’s clash.

Rewa will host Labasa at 7.30 tonight at Ratu Cakobau Park while Lautoka will host Nadi at 3pm tomorrow at Churchill Park.

The final will be played at 2.30pm Sunday at Chruchill Park and you can catch the live commentaries of the three matches on Radio Sargam.
