The Rebels have pulled off one of the most shocking results of the 2015 Super Rugby season by beating the Chiefs 16‑15 at AAMI Park in Melbourne.
The Chiefs were trailing 16‑3 at half time but hit back in the second half and closed to within a point with eleven minutes remaining.
The result is the Rebels fifth win from 10 matches which equals their best ever season and keeps them in with a chance of reaching the play offs.
Meanwhile, the Cheetahs earned their fourth victory of the Super Rugby season by beating the Stormers 25‑17.
The Bulls ended the Lions five match winning streak with a 35‑33 bonus point victory while the Hurricanes held off a stern challenge from the Crusaders to also secure a 29‑23 bonus point victory at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
The Blues also earned their second victory of the Super Rugby season when they beat the Western Force 41‑24 at Eden Park.
In the other results, the Highlanders thrashed the Sharks 48-15 while the Waratahs defeated the Brumbies 13-10.
