Penrith Panthers forward Reagan Campbell‑Gillard

Penrith Panthers forward Reagan Campbell‑Gillard has been called into the Kangaroos squad following the withdrawal today of Andrew Fifita.

Fifita informed Kangaroos Coach Mal Meninga today of his desire to represent Tonga at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Meninga says Fifita told him that he is passionate about representing Tonga.

Meanwhile Campbell-Gillard was also being chased by Fiji Bati officials.

The Kangaroos will be coming to Fiji next week to face the Fiji Bati and the PNG Kumuls at the ANZ Stadium.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati final squad will be announced after the Battle of the Bati at 3pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
