The decision on whether Vodafone Fiji 7s wing Savenaca Rawaca will play in the Pacific Games will be finalized when coach Ben Ryan arrives into the country at the end of this month.
Rawaca who has been named in the Vodafone Flying Fijians 40 member training squad to prepare for the Maori All Blacks and the Pacific Nations Cup has a high chance of making the final cut in the 15s side.
Flying Fijians coach John McKee has told Fijivillage that he will respect Ben Ryan’s decision.
Some of the players who are in Ben Ryan’s squad are Kitione Taliga, Josaia Wini, Jerry Tuwai, Osea Kolinisau, Pio Tuwai, Isake Katonibau, Eminoni Nasilasila, Abele Yalayalatabua, Viliame Mata, Vatemo Ravouvou, Isoa Domolailai and Jasa Veremalua.
Fiji is pooled with Tahiti, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.
The Pacific Games 7s competition will be held from the 8th to the 10th of next month.
