Ravouvou aiming to make his mark at Sydney 7s

New Zealand 7s star and Fiji born winger Joe Ravouvou is aiming to make his mark again in the World Sevens Series ahead of the Sydney 7s at the end of this month.

Ravouvou was instrumental for the All Blacks 7s in the last leg of the 2017-2018 series as they reached the Dubai 7s final after 19 tournaments and managed to win the South Africa 7s tournament to top the series standings.

Ravouvou and Vilimoni Koroi have been playing well for New Zealand.

The duo were praised by coach Clark Laidlaw with their ability to create something from nothing in the team.

New Zealand is pooled with the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team, Samoa and Russia in Pool A.

The Sydney 7s will be held from the 26th to the 28th of this month.
