Random drug tests will be held during the Vodafone Fiji FACT which will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park from 12th to 14th May.
Fiji FA’s CEO Mohammad Yusuf says they need to comply with FIFA rules.
Yusuf says they have had random tests at the CVC and Vodafone Premier League matches and they have given ample time for districts and players to comply.
He adds if the players test positive then they will be subjected to disciplinary action and the district will also face hefty fines and will not be allowed to play further part in the tournament.
The CEO says the players would be given another six weeks to come back for the second test for confirmation and if found positive again further disciplinary action would be taken.
He adds they want to want to clean up the sport and the districts must do likewise to ensure the players keep away from drug and the bad habit.
Meanwhile, two Vodafone Premier League matches will start at 3pm this Sunday.
Nadi will host Ba while Lautoka will host Rakiraki.
