Flying Fijians new find and Toulon winger Semi Radradra has been named in the Barbarians starting line‑up to face England in Twickenham on Monday morning and admitted he was shocked to get the call up.
After an impressive season with Toulon, Radradra will be stepping out with the famous invitational side, no doubt bidding to impress with just sixteen months until the Rugby World Cup in Japan and the Sevens World Cup next month.
Radradra told RugbyPass that he always wants to show his talent to the world and play as good as he can every week.
The former Eels star says he is aiming to be part of the Flying Fijians team in next year’s World Cup.
Radradra will be moving to Bordeaux from September having signed a two year contract.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay in Pool B of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile the Flying Fijians squad will be starting their camp next week ahead of their Pacific Nations Cup clash with Samoa on the 9th of next month at the ANZ Stadium.
