The Rabbitohs defeated the Bulldogs 14‑6 to make it four straight victories against the Bulldogs for the first time in 48 years.
The Rabbitohs came into the game having not won four straight matches against the Bulldogs since 1968‑1971, when they won nine in a row.
They were without Greg Inglis however, have managed to maintain their footing inside the top four.
Souths skipper Inglis called time on his illustrious career during the week but the Rabbitohs still had enough star power to get the job done through Damien Cook, Adam Reynolds and Cody Walker.
In another match, the Storm beat the Roosters 21-20.
Today, the Warriors take on the Cowboys at 7.30pm while the Sea Eagles meet the Dragons at 9.35pm.
