Ratu Sukuna Memorial School have been crowned the new champion in the boys division in the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 1 with 9 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze.
Defending champion Nasinu Secondary School had to settle for second with 8 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze while Dudley High School in third with 5 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze.
Ballentine Memorial School has successfully defended their girls title.
The girls from Delainavesi stamped their mark with 15 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze with Nasinu Secondary School in second with 6 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze and Dudley High School in third place with 6 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze.
The best male athlete was Mel Katafono of Dudley High School and Leo Cakaunivalu of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School.
Katafono won gold in the senior boys 400 meters and 200 meters while Cakaunivalu claimed gold in the intermediate triple jump and long jump while Melania Nikola of Sacred Heart College was awarded with the best female athlete.
Josateki Ratukaudale won the senior boys 100m final with a manual time of 11.09seconds.
Meanwhile, Tavua College has won both the girls and boys titles of the Tavua, Vatukoula and Ra Athletics Zone with an overall.
