Cakau House has claimed gold in all the grades of the 100 metres final at the Ratu Kadavulevu School athletics interhouse this afternoon.
Jeke Gade won the Senior Boys 100m final with a manual time of 11.42 seconds, Timoci Tuimavana of Ma’afu House clocked a time of 12.02s to finish second, while Alfred Turner of Ma’afu House finished third with a time of 12.17 seconds.
After day one of the RKS Athletics Interhouse, Ma’afu House is currently leading with 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze, Sukuna House are second with 3 gold and 3 silver, Cakau House is in third place with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze while Degei House is in fourth place with 2 gold 3 silver and 4 bronze.
The finals of the 200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, 400m, 800m and other field events will take place tomorrow at the RKS school grounds.
Meanwhile in the Gospel High School Athletics Interhouse, St John House have dominated the girls and boys division as they won the overall title at the ANZ Stadium with 34 gold, 22 silver and 18 bronze.
St Matthew settled for second place with 22 gold, 23 silver and 14 bronze, St Luke House finished in third place with 10 gold, 18 silver and 25 bronze while St Mark finished in fourth place with 15 gold, 25 silver and 14 bronze.
Meanwhile Marist Brothers High School will have their inter-house tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
