There were once rated as the King of the boys division in the Coca Cola Games but since the introduction of medals in 1992, Ratu Kadavulevu School has not enjoyed the results it used get in the past.
RKS has only managed to win the boys division once in 1997 when athletes like Napolioni Kuricibi, Moape Vu and Kinijoji Caucau were still in the school.
12 years on, the boys from Delainakaikai have struggled to finish in the top 5 places when it comes to the Coke Games although they have done well during the Tailevu Zone.
RKS vice Principal Mesake Speight said that although they finished in second place during the zone with 8 gold and 26 silver, they will still be a force to reckon with come the Coca Cola Games.
Coke Games Chief Organiser Vuli Waqa has confirmed that 5 new schools will be taking part this year.
But schools like Holy Cross, Bucalevu Secondary, Niusawa and Navosa Central College which used to provide tough competition to schools like Marist, ACS and Suva Grammar will not take part this year.
The Coca Cola Games will start on the 31st of April at the TFL Stadium.
