QVS books a spot in U18 Deans Competition quarterfinals

The Queen Victoria School Under 18 team has booked their spot into the Under 18 Powerade Super Rugby Deans Competition quarterfinals after defeating Seaqaqa Central Secondary School 59-0 in their qualifying match this afternoon.

Queen Victoria School settled third in the Eastern Zone Secondary School Rugby Competition and they were required to beat the number one team from Macuata/Bua to make it to the National Quarters.

QVS had also reached the Deans competition final last year where they were defeated by a determined RKS 20‑5.

Meanwhile other Under 18 teams that have qualified to the National semifinals included, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Nasinu Secondary School, Ratu Navula College, John Wesley College, Cuvu College, Lelean Memorial School and Marist Brothers High School.

The national quarterfinals will be held on Saturday next week, semifinals on August 4th while the final will be on August 11th.

All national finals will be held at the ANZ Stadium.
