QVS, RKS start Deans campaign on a high

Coca Zero Deans defending champion Queen Victoria School and Ratu Kadavulevu School started their Deans campaign on a high after winning their games at the Eastern Zone Competition today.

QVS survived a hard fought battle against Saint Johns College from Cawaci with a 19-18 victory.

The defending champions were trailing 8-5 at half time before making their comeback in the second half.

The second clash saw RKS edging out Lelean Memorial School 8-6.

In other results, QVS beat Lelean 10-0 in the Under 14, QVS beat Lelean 12-0 in the Under 15 while St Johns Cawaci beat Lelean 8-7 in the Under 16 grade.
