Predicted strong winds at ANZ Stadium might allow the All Blacks to stop Wallabies wingers Marika Koroibete and Dane Haylett‑Petty with an assortment of kicks in the opening Bledisloe Test.
All Blacks captain Kieran Read said his team, and particularly the kickers, will adapt to the conditions.
He says that the wind can be a factor, the stadium is obviously pretty large so it'll probably swirl a little bit, they will get used to that and the kickers might need to adapt.
Tonight will be the first time the All Blacks have been at the Test venue this week after not electing to travel to Homebush for the captain's run.
Instead, the men in black held their training on the eve of the Test at North Sydney Oval, their base for the week.
The Wallabies will host the All Blacks at 10.05 tonight in the Bledisloe and Rugby Championship opener.
In another Rugby Championship match, South Africa will face Argentina at 3.05am tomorrow.
