The powerful Nadroga side has successfully retained the HFC Bank Farebrother challenge for the third time by thrashing Namosi 52-20 at Prince Charles Park earlier today.
Nadroga was the first to put points on the board with a converted try at the 9th minute and was followed by a try from Namosi’s Alevoso Rauto.
Both teams scored 2 tries each in the first half but Namosi led with a penalty kick leading 13-12.
Nadroga turned the game around in the second half scoring 6 tries extending their lead throughout the game.
A try from Iliesa Ratuva in the second half pushed their lead to 17-12 and extended their lead with 5 tries as Alivereti Veitokani scored two tries.
The rest of the tries came from Iliesa Ratuva, Apete Daveta and Joeli Lutumailagi who scored a try each.
Meanwhile Nadroga’s Eremasi Radrodro was named the Man of the Match.
Meanwhile the 4th HFC Bank Farebrother challenge will be between the defending champions Nadroga and Naitasiri next Saturday.
