A ban of up to seven weeks could be handed to the Fiji Airways Drua players Eroni Vasiteri and Apisalome Waqatabu if they are found guilty of eye-gouging against a Canberra Vikings hooker last week.
Referee Agnus Gardner took no action on the field, but warned Drua captain John Stewart of further ramifications.
Gardner told Stewart that this is completely unacceptable.
Vasiteri and Waqatabu will be appearing to the Judiciary tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Australian NRC fans are being urged to hand in their rugby gear for the Fiji Project to give young Fijian children a chance to chase their rugby dreams.
Fiji Project co‑founder Katrina Oxenham says the promotion links with this weekend's Pasifika Round, which will celebrate the Pacific Islands' contribution to rugby, highlighted by the Pasifika Cup between the Greater Sydney Rams and Fijian Drua.
The Rams will take on the Drua at 4pm Saturday.
