Police dominated the ANZ Sukuna Bowl Boxing competition semi-finals last night at the FMF Gymnasium.

Police proved too strong for Army after they won 10 out of the 13 semi-finals.

Police favorite Joe Ravudi Junior continued his winning form after he defeated teammate Pauliasi Sukunatabua in a technical knockout in the 75kg category.

He will now fight police teammate Jone Mau who also won his bout on a technical knockout for the 75kg final tonight.

Ravudi said that he will give everything in tonight’s final as he hopes to continue following in his father’s footsteps.

He also said the Police Boxing club will fight to the death tonight to win the boxing competition.

The ANZ Sukuna Bowl Boxing Competition Finals will start this afternoon at 5pm at the FMF Gymnasium.

Meanwhile, the annual Sukuna Bowl rugby clash between Army and Police will be held at ANZ Stadium this Friday at 3pm and you can catch the live commentary of this match on our sister station Viti FM.

Army has top players like Emosi Mulevoro, Aisake Katonibau, Maikeli Mocetadra and Sunia Bainivalu while Police have Setefano Somoca, Ulaiasi Lawavou and Apisalome Waqatabu.
