Police Blue oust defending Marist 7s champions in quarterfinals

A new champion will be crowned at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s after defending champions Tabadamu Blues lost to Police Blue 15-0 in their quarterfinal match.

Police Blue dominated throughout the game as Tabadamu Blues had   difficulties with their handling.

Meli Kurisaru scored two tries while Watisoni Sevutia scored one try.

Meanwhile in the first quarterfinal Uluinakau Babas defeated Wadigi Salvo 17-5 while Wardens Gold defeated Police White 13-5 in the second quarterfinal.

Ratu Filise beat Russia Red 31-10.

Uluinakau Babas will play Wardens Gold in the first semi-final at 4.30pm while Police Blue will face Ratu Filise in the second semifinal at 4.48pm
