As the Wallabies start preparations for their quarter final clash against Scotland, star flanker David Pockock is still fighting a leg injury.
However Coach Michael Cheika was in high spirits when asked about the 27‑year‑old's chances of tackling Scotland in their quarter‑final clash at Twickenham.
Cheika says Pocock will start against Scotland if he recovers in time.
The Wallabies will take on Scotland at 3am next Monday and a win would see them meeting either Ireland or Argentina in the semifinal.
In the other quarter finals, South Africa will take on Wales at 3am Sunday, the All Blacks will face France at 7am Sunday while Ireland will take on Argentina at 12am Monday.
