Pita Gus Sowakula scores impressive try to help Chiefs beat the Reds

24-year-old Fiji born Pita Gus Sowakula’s impressive try helped the Chiefs defeat the Reds 19-13 in their Super Rugby match last night.

Sowakula opened the scoring in the first 9 minutes of the game for the Chiefs busting through the Reds defense.

The Chiefs were leading the Reds at half time 19‑6 at halftime.

This will be the Red’s eighth loss from 13 games and leaves them only ahead of the Sunwolves on the  overall table.

In another match played last night, the Brumbies beat the Bulls 22-10.

Today, the Sunwolves will face the Rebels at 5.15pm,  the Crusaders will take on the Blues at 7.35pm.

Tomorrow, the Stormers will face the Highlanders at 1.05am while the Sharks will host the Lions at 3.15am.
