Pio Sokobalavu who played for the Overseas Bati in the Battle of the Bati will be brought in to replace Korbin Sims who was unable to recover from the broken arm he suffered playing for the Broncos earlier this year.
The Vodafone Fiji Bati is now without two of its top forwards for the remainder of the Rugby League World Cup, and Coach Mick Potter believes that senior players in the team will have to step up in leading the charge for the Bati for the remainder of the tournament.
Potter adds a decision has not been made on who will replace Kane Evans who broke his wrist in the 58-12 win against the USA.
However, Potter says he still will have to review the rules and regulations of the Rugby League World Cup in order to safeguard the coming in of the replacement players.
Fiji will play their second pool match of the Rugby League World Cup against Wales at 9.30pm Sunday.
Meanwhile, in other matches Tonga thrashed Scotland 50-4, Ireland beat Italy 36-12 while Lebanon overcame France 29-18.
