Fiji Bati local player to this year’s Rugby League World Cup Pio Seci has signed a new contract with Australian Rugby league club Ipswich Jets for the Queensland Cup competition.
Seci who has represented local club Nabua Broncos on many occasions has been playing rugby league for the past ten years.
Seci says this is the second time an opportunity like this has approached him and he hopes to prove himself this time.
Pio Seci was the only local player in the Fiji Bati team at this year’s Rugby League World Cup and is expected to leave Fiji next month.
