30-year-old Petero Qica will be making a comeback into the ring during this year’s South Pacific Boxing Promotion Title Fight.
Qica says that he wants to bring back the style of boxing that has been lost in past years and coming back this year will be great news for boxing in Fiji.
Qica says that its been a few years he has not been boxing but he has been preparing over the past months and now he is ready to fight.
Newtown Boxing Club Manager and trainer Jone Loloma confirms that Qica is in good form and is ready to take the ring at this year’s South Pacific Boxing Promotion Title Fight.
Petero Qica will go toe to toe with Sikeli Navuni in the heavyweight division.
In other bouts, Joseph Kwadjo will box Savenaca Naliva, Ronaldo Naidu will take on Ratu Rakuro Daunivavana, Abhay Chand will face Nereo Cakautini and Samisoni Amoni will fight Matereti Daunavou.
The South Pacific Boxing Promotion Title Fight will be held on the 9th of next month at the Prince Charles Park.
