Tomorrow night, Mitchell Pearce will reunite with James Maloney, his halves partner when the Roosters were at their peak in the past three years.
Maloney moved on to collect another premiership at Cronulla last year and has the Sharks again in the top four.
The cheeky Maloney played in two losing series for the NSW Blues in 2013 and 2016, six games for two wins but he finished on top in Origin III last year.
Meanwhile the Queensland Maroons are ready to unleash Broncos youngster Anthony Milford who can break tackles and create gaps for his big runners.
The Maroons will host the Blues at 10pm tomorrow.
