Current President of the Fiji Football Association, Rajesh Patel has called on the district association to look at the long term future of Fiji FA as elections for three posts will be held in Fiji FA's annual congress in Ba this evening.
Patel hopes the people will not be swayed at the last minute and will support the right people to run the association.
The Fiji FA President's post will be contested by current President, Rajesh Patel and former Lautoka Soccer President, Shalendra Prasad.
Shalendra Prasad was the President for Lautoka soccer from 2007 to 31st December, 2013.
Two Vice Presidents posts will also be contested.
Yogeshwar Singh will contest the Southern VP's seat with Tailevu Naitasiri soccer official, Shalendra Roy while the Western VP's post will be contested between Tarunesh Reddy and former Lautoka soccer Vice President, Abdul Rafiq.
Meanwhile, the second round of Courts IDC will resume tomorrow at Govind Park with Nadi playing Dreketi at 1pm. Rewa will face Nadroga at 3pm, Lautoka will play Suva at 5.30pm and Ba will take on Labasa at 7.30pm.
