Penrith Panthers are into the NRL top eight after a hard‑fought 28‑14 victory over the Wests Tigers last night.
Two tries to Kiwi international Dallin Watene‑Zelezniak set up the win before five‑eighth Tyrone May put the icing on the cake two minutes out from the siren.
Waqa Blake set up the Panthers second try.
In other matches, the Sea Eagles beat the Roosters 30- 18, the Broncos thrashed the Titans 54‑0, Melbourne Storm defeated the Cowboys 26‑8 while the Knights defeated the Warriors 26‑10.
After Round 22 of the NRL, Melbourne Storm leads the standings with 36 points, the Roosters are in second place with 32 points and the Broncos are third with 30 points.
