A ruthless Penrith Panthers team has put the Newcastle Knights to the sword after they demolished the Novocastrians 40‑0 last night.
Anthony Griffin's men were impressive in the 80‑minute performance, scoring seven unanswered tries and keeping the visitors to zero in a dominant showing.
This is the second time this year the Panthers has kept a team try-less after their Round 2 showing against the Wests Tigers.
The Panthers led 22‑0 at the break after running in four tries as the home side enjoyed 61 per cent of possession and ran a season‑high 2048 metres.
In other games, the Broncos beat the Raiders 13-12.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles play the Bulldogs at 5.30 today while the Eels take on the Sharks at 8pm.
