Great news for Highlanders fans ahead of their match against the Hurricanes this weekend as wing, Patrick Osborne re‑signed with the team until the end of the 2017 season.
The exciting wing has played 47 games for the Highlanders since his debut in 2014 and has formed a lethal partnership with fellow Fijian Waisake Naholo.
Osborne will play for Japan club Kubota Spears later this year before returning to Dunedin for the 2017 Super Rugby season.
He has made himself available for the Fiji national team in the June international window.
The Hurricanes face the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday while the Waratahs play the Chiefs at 9.40pm.
The Crusaders take on the Blues at 7.35pm Saturday.
