Chelsea captain John Terry will serve a one‑match ban after the club's appeal against his red card in Monday's FA Cup win over Peterborough was rejected.
The former England international, 36, was dismissed by referee Kevin Friend for a professional foul on Lee Angol in the second half of the 4‑1 win.
Terry will now be unavailable for Monday's trip to champions Leicester.
Meanwhile, Manchester United beat Hull City 2-nil in the 1st leg English Football League Cup semi- final.
Juan Mata scored for the United.
