DHL has launched a nationwide competition that will result in one lucky Fijian child getting the opportunity to deliver the official match ball onto the field of play at the opening match of the Rugby World Cup in 2015.

DHL Express Fiji Country Manager Mark Komene said that they are excited to offer this once in a lifetime opportunity to a Fijian child to be part of the opening match of the World Cup next year.

Komene said knowing how much children love their rugby here in Fiji, he cannot imagine that there will be a shortage of entries and so deciding the eventual winner will be tough.

The Fijian winner will be just one of 48 children from all around the world who will have this opportunity of a life time.

Children between the ages of 8-15 who wish to enter can submit their entry via a coupon in the Kaila section of the Sunday Fiji Times, explaining in 20 words or less why they should be chosen to deliver the match ball.

Entries will open this Saturday the 26th October and will close on the 30th November.

The winner will be announced in February next year.
