A mammoth crowd is expected at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Saturday night when the Rabbitohs and the Dragons who have two of the biggest supporter bases in the NRL, face off in the NRL Premiership finals.
The Rabbitohs were battered and bruised after their narrow loss to Melbourne to kick off their play‑off campaign while the Dragons' stunning win in Brisbane was soured by the loss of skipper Gareth Widdop with a dislocated shoulder.
For the Rabbitohs, their forward pack will be amped up to cancel out the Dragons with the Burgess brothers ‑ Sam, George and Tom in hot form this season.
The Dragons will play the Rabbitohs at 9.40pm Saturday while the Sharks will play the Panthers at 9.40pm Friday.
Meanwhile, the Roosters alongside with the Melbourne Storm have qualified for the NRL Preliminary Finals.
The winner of the Sharks and Panthers match will play the Melbourne Storm while the winner of the Dragons and Rabbitohs game will play the Roosters.
