Crusaders assistant coach Ronan O'Gara has been blown away by the environment he walked into at the 2017 Super Rugby champions.
The 41‑year‑old former Irish International arrived in Christchurch earlier this year after being recommended to the Crusaders by Dan Carter.
O’Gara says the preparation in the Crusaders is interesting as they practice what they preach, and their actions back their words.
He says the Crusaders preparation is a very positive, engaging and respectful environment.
The Crusaders face the Sharks on Saturday night in Christchurch as they look to extend their 12‑match winning streak.
If the Crusaders can top the Sharks they will host the Hurricanes or Chiefs a week later.
In this week’s Super Rugby quarter finals, the Hurricanes take on the Chiefs at 7.35pm Friday, defending champions, Crusaders will meet the Sharks at 7.35pm Saturday, the Waratahs the only Australian team in the Super Rugby finals face the Highlanders at 10.05pm Saturday, while the Lions meet the Jaguares at 1.05am Sunday.
