Former Wallaby James O'Connor will return to Australia next year after signing a 2 year deal with Australian Rugby and the Queensland Reds Super Rugby franchise.
O'Connor’s contract makes him immediately eligible for test selection for the first time since 2013 but it's still unclear whether he will be in the mix to face the Springboks this weekend.
O'Connor is currently in South Africa as a non playing part of the Wallabies squad preparing for the opener of the Rugby Championship against South Africa.
The Wallabies meet the Springboks at 3.05am Sunday while the All Blacks clash with Argentina at 6.05am Sunday.
