Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O’Connor says they have no confirmation as yet if they are recruiting assistant coaches for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team.
O’Connor told Fijivillage Sports they will provide an update tomorrow.
During a training session yesterday, coach, Gareth Baber was seen being assisted by two coaches however, he has also refused to make comments.
Baber went on to say that he was happy with the assistance from the two as it boosts their development.
Meanwhile, O’Connor says that the two are part of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians.
An extended national squad are back in training as they prepare to tussle for the Las Vegas 7s next month.
Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of the Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am on Saturday the 2nd of next month, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day.
They will then face Australia at 7.52 Sunday the 3rd of of next month.
