Nine Cuvu College U18 rugby players to play for their school's soccer team

Most of the Cuvu College U18 rugby team players will be featuring for the school's soccer team.

Nine players from the Cuvu College Under 18 rugby team that recently played in the semi-finals of the Coke Zero Deans will now play for their school’s Under 19 soccer team this week.

The Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Championship kicks off this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park and the Cuvu College Under 19 side will face Central College Lautoka at 9.20am in their first pool match.

The Cuvu soccer side will have rugby stars such as winger, Solomoni Donu, fullback, Ilaisa Droasese, Sikeli Nasiga, Taitusi Lulusini and centre, Douglas Daveta.

Fiji Under 17 soccer rep Romit Narayan is also part of the Cuvu Under 19 soccer team.

The Cuvu Under 19 soccer team which last won the Championship in 2010 is making a comeback in the tournament after a lapse of seven years.
