Despite Neil Henry's uncomfortable departure from the Gold Coast Titans, he is still urging the public to get behind the team.
Titans boss Graham Annesley has said Henry’s sacking was not player driven.
What he was really referring to was that Henry’s sacking was not caused by former Fiji 7s player Jarryd Hayne.
Last year the Titans board had a crisis meeting after Hayne declared he would leave the club if the coach wanted him gone, despite signing a 1.2 million Australian dollars contract to play in 2018.
