Fiji Airways Men’s 7s hooker and rover Kalione Nasoko has described his inclusion in the national team to the Dubai 7s as a blessing in disguise.
Nasoko who played at rover at the Oceania 7s continued to show his power and skills after an outstanding game against New Zealand in the final.
He believes having Eroni Sau and John Stewart in the team will boost the side as they add more power in the backs.
Nasoko, Sau and Stewart are all expected to compete for the rover position with coach Gareth Baber having another option for Sau on the wing with Waisea Nacuqu.
The national side will leave our shores on Saturday.
Fiji is pooled with Russia, Wales and Australia.
The Dubai 7s will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.
