Nasoko and Nasilasila will not be part of Pacific Games team

Former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s players Kalione Nasoko and Amenoni Nasilasila will not be part of the Pacific Games team.

Coach Gareth Baber has confirmed that Nasoko will be undergoing surgery and Nasilasila’s fate will be decided by his court case.

Baber says he will be looking to get in players that have been with the squad for the whole year and played in the HSBC World 7s Series.

He says that he wants to work and progress with the current squad.

12 teams will be participating in the 7s competition in the Pacific Games in Samoa which includes Australia, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, New Caledonia, PNG, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Nauru, Tuvalu and Wallis and Futuna.

The Pacific Games 7s competition will be held on the 12th and 13th of next month.
