Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain Kalione Nasoko and speedster Alasio Naduva have both been named in the 2018 Cape Town 7s Dream Team.
This follows a clinical display by Fiji to win the Cape Town 7s final 29-15 this morning for the first time.
Fiji had earlier defeated Spain in their quarterfinal 46-7 and later beat hosts South Africa in their semifinal 17-12 early this morning.
The Fiji side has drastically improved their defence when compared to last week’s games but discipline is still a lingering issue for the side as they had received a total of 3 yellow cards throughout the tournament.
Fiji’s last win in South Africa was in the George 7s in 2005.
Nasoko who achieved his first victory as captain carried his side unbeaten throughout the whole tournament.
