Nasinu soccer team at Ganilau Park

The Nasinu soccer team’s quest to play in the Premier competition got a big boost after a 1-0 win over Savusavu at Ganilau Park yesterday.

This was the first senior playoff.

Nasinu, Lami and Savusavu will play against each other in a home and away series and the team with most amount of points will automatically qualify to play in the Premier competition.

Nasinu was once a side that big teams like Ba, Rewa, Labasa and Lautoka used to fear as Nasinu also used to win major soccer tournaments in the past.

But, Nasinu has been playing in the senior competition for sometime and their fans would again love to see their side play in the top competition.

Nasinu will face Lami at 3pm this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park in its second playoff match.
