The Vodafone Flying Fijians have suffered a major setback ahead of their opening autumn test against France this weekend.
This comes after coach John McKee confirmed that Clermont wing Napolioni Nalaga will miss Fiji’s tests against France, Wales and the USA due to family reasons.
McKee said he respects the decision made by Nalaga and he believes the former Lelean Memorial School student will be available come next year’s World Cup.
With Nalaga ruled out, McKee has secured the services of IRB 7s player of the year Samisoni Viriviri to be on the standby list for the Europe test matches.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on France at 4.45am, Sunday.
