Chants of "WAI‑SAKE NA‑HO‑LO" will ring out at Dunedin's stadium for at least another season with the dynamic winger re‑signing with the Highlanders.
26-year-old Naholo was said to be deciding on where to play rugby next season between the Chiefs and Highlanders, and announced on the Highlanders' Facebook page today he would be remaining with the Southerners.
Naholo says he is really excited to announce he has decided to stay another year with the Highlanders.
Naholo adds that he loves playing in Dunedin and playing in New Zealand, and is looking forward to another big year next year.
Naholo has made 37 appearances for the Highlanders since joining the club in 2015.
The Highlander will take on the Crusaders at 7.35pm tonight in their Super Rugby quarterfinal.
Last night the Hurricanes produced a strong second half performance to seal a 35‑16 win over the Brumbies in their Super Rugby quarterfinal in Canberra.
The Hurricanes will now head into next week's semifinal against either the Lions or Sharks.
In other quarter finals, the Lions will take on the Sharks at 12.30am tomorrow and the Stormers will host the Chiefs at 3am tomorrow.
