The fame of Waisake Naholo has spread to the Middle East.
Naholo, who was a bit of a mystery man at the start of the year, has had a breakout season, racking up 12 tries this year, setting a Highlanders record.
He said the support has been great and has been coming from far and wide.
He added that he has had a lot of support from Fiji and family, wishing him luck for this weekend as well as the messages of support from the soldiers in Iraq.
The 24-year-old from Nadroumai village in Nadroga has acknowledged the support which gets him excited for tomorrow.
Naholo’s father Aporosa Naholo told Fijivillage this morning that after the semifinals, his son has assured him that he will send some money over for them to buy a bigger flat screen television to watch the final.
Meanwhile, Naholo said he will focus on his role and get to try and stop Hurricanes winger Julian Savea.
He added that it has been a great season for him and a win tomorrow night would be the icing on the cake.
Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has also retained the team that beat the Waratahs last weekend.
Joseph has named a six forward and two backs split on the reserves bench which will give the hardworking forward pack plenty of firepower for the final.
The Hurricanes will host the Highlanders at 7.35pm tomorrow.
