Waisake Naholo is available for selection for the Highlanders Super Rugby match against the Sunwolves on Saturday.
The 12‑test All Blacks wing along with first‑five‑eighth Lima Sopoaga were both injured against the Blues at Eden Park in Round 3.
Naholo is back in training and in contention to be named later this week to take the field for the Highlanders after playing 40 minutes of club rugby in Taranaki for Spotswood United.
Sopoaga is still doing his recovery and performance programme and is likely to be considered for selection in two weeks.
This week, the Hurricanes meet the Brumbies at 7.35pm, the Waratahs clash with the Kings at 9.45pm Friday, the Highlanders play the Sunwolves at 5.15pm Saturday while the Crusaders meet the Stormers at 7.35pm Saturday.
