The Fiji 7s team just needs a third place finish at the Paris 7s this weekend to win the 2017/2018 World Sevens Series.
Fiji is in first place with 167 points and a third place finish will earn them 17 points and will take their total tally to 184.
A tournament win is 22 points therefore South Africa will get 182 points if they win the Paris 7s.
This will not be enough to beat Fiji on the table.
Barring any upsets, they are likely to meet Argentina, USA or England in the quarterfinals.
Fiji is likely to face Australia, Canada or Scotland in the semifinals and South Africa or New Zealand in the final.
Fiji will take on Samoa at 8.50pm tomorrow in their first pool match of the Paris 7s.
