Nadroga halfback called into Fiji Drua squad

Nadroga halfback Sakiusa Gavidi has been called into the Fiji Airways Drua squad ahead of their match against Queensland Country this weekend.

Coach Senirusi Seruvakula is exploring more talents in his wider training squad as they gear up for the last rounds of games.

Gavidi was instrumental in Nadroga’s Skipper Cup title win this year and was on standby.

Naitasiri centre Cyril Reece has also joined the squad.

The Drua is aiming for a win to secure a top four finish and a semifinal spot.

Looking at the NRC points table, the Canberra Vikings is leading with 25 points, Queensland Country is in second place with 24 while the Drua are currently in third place with 20 points.
