Nadroga is currently leading the boys division medal tally of the Western division FMF Chow Games with 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze after day one competition at Govind Park yesterday.
Lautoka is in second place with 4 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze and Ba is third with 2 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze.
In the girls division, Lautoka is currently leading with 5 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze, Nadroga is in second place with 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze while Nadi is third with 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.
Meanwhile, Seveci Matanitobua of Lautoka broke the 1500 metres record after finishing with a time of 4.44 minutes.
This is one of the twelve records that was recorded in the first day of competition.
