Fiji Airways Flying Fijians and Montpelier winger Nemani Nadolo believes the skill and speed of Fijian rugby meeting with the power and strength of Samoan and Tongan players would be an exciting mix to introduce into Super Rugby.
Nadolo has showed his support and excitement on the move to get a Pacific team in Super Rugby by 2021.
The former Crusaders winger has also proposed that having a quality coach like Wayne Smith, Robbie Deans or Stuart Lancaster would bring the best out of Pacific Island players in the competition.
Nadolo says that if this move is successful, one guideline would be that any player representing the franchise must be eligible to represent their respective nation including Fiji, Samoa or Tonga.
Nadolo was named in the Flying Fijians squad ahead of the June Test series.
He is amongst the three other wingers Josua Tuisova, Vereniki Goneva and Timoci Nagusa.
The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa in their first test match on the 9th of next month.
